Kunstverein Nürnberg – Albrecht Dürer Gesellschaft is seeking to fill the following position at the earliest possible date:

Exhibition Invigilator (m/f/d), hourly freelance position

Kunstverein Nürnberg – Albrecht Dürer Gesellschaft is dedicated to presenting contemporary art and fostering dialogue on pressing social issues of our time. Through four to five exhibitions each year, accompanied by talks, concerts, workshops, publications, and the series “Reveries,” “Flock,” and “Bar,” the Kunstverein presents internationally significant artists.

To support our team, we are looking for a reliable and committed Exhibition Invigilator. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors, provide information about exhibitions and public programmes, and help create an open and welcoming atmosphere. Through your presence, you will contribute to ensuring respectful and mindful interaction with both the exhibition spaces and the artworks on display.

Your responsibilities:
– Supervising and monitoring the exhibition spaces during opening hours.
– Welcoming visitors and serving as their first point of contact.
– Providing basic information about the exhibitions.
– Helping ensure the responsible handling of artworks and exhibition spaces.
– Contributing to a positive visitor experience.
– Maintaining the exhibition spaces.

– Enjoy working with visitors.
– Reliability, a strong sense of responsibility, and attentiveness.
– Ability to work independently with a friendly and professional manner.

– Compensation: €15.00 per hour.

The position primarily involves working on Saturdays and Sundays during the Kunstverein’s regular opening hours, with occasional shifts on Thursdays and Fridays.
