Please feel warmly invited to join for an evening of encounters and affection on Tuesday, 4th June, 7 pm at Kunstverein Nürnberg. Following an introduction of the new director Nele Kaczmarek, we present the sound performance “Zone: Atmosphären” by Antonia Alessia Virginia Beeskow, a culinary contribution by Lucila Pacheco Dehne and a painterly intervention by Maximiliane Baumgartner.
Antonia Alessia Virginia Beeskow is an artist, sound designer and performer. In collaboration with artist Lilli Lake but also several local communities, Beeskow is currently working on a site-specific composition for Kunstverein Nürnberg, that echoes the process and longing of getting to know one-another.
Lucila Pacheco Dehne’s artistic work is driven by different modes of transcultural solidarisation and friendship. Her multi-disciplinary practice involves food, cocking and eating rituals. In the course of the evening, she will share different recipes – words and tastes – with the audience.
Maximiliane Baumgartner works on the intersection of painting, research and pedagogy. Her exhibition and accompanying outreach program „Das Lokale ist nicht lokal“ will open June, 29th at Kunstverein Nürnberg. It is realized with the kind support of Marianne-Defet-Malerei-Stipendium and in collaboration with Kunstvilla Nürnberg.
The participation at „To say your name and hear you say mine“ is free of charge, no registration required.
