Kunstverein Nürnberg – Albrecht Dürer Gesellschaft

The reading series “Übermut & Zärtlichkeit” creates a safe and welcoming space for people presenting their writing in public for the first time, as well as for introverted authors who want to become more comfortable reading aloud in front of an audience. Organized by Anna Hofmann and Stephanie Mehnert — both writers themselves — the series offers an alternative to the competitive literary scene by fostering a supportive environment for first public readings. Since 2024, the series has taken place four times a year at various venues in Nuremberg and is a member of Unabhängige Lesereihen e.V.

Attendance at the readings is free of charge, and no registration is required. The bar will be open.
