Marking both the 30th Marianne Defet Painting Fellow and the centenary of founders Marianne and Hans Friedrich Defet, Kunsthalle Nürnberg, Institut für moderne Kunst, and Kunstverein Nürnberg have joined forces to present the exhibition “ibid”.
The group exhibition at Kunstverein Nürnberg explores ecological and infrastructural entanglements. Taking the fountain as a point of departure, the works examine the structures and networks that sustain and connect habitats, tracing relations of care, dependency, and contamination.
