The Kunstverein Nürnberg – Albrecht Dürer Gesellschaft presents the work „Entropie“ (entropy) by the artist Susanne Dundler. The visitors take a journey to dystopian resonating worlds. Dundler’s instrumental piece enters a maelstrom of decline, facing things that can be, cannot be known, and that can happen any time. She is exploring the Milchhof as a place yet to be discovered, a symbol of the complex reality, the past and the present. A setting of oscillators, loudspeakers and microphones transforms the space into a body of sound.
Susanne Dundler (lives and works in Nuremberg) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, whose artistic expression includes video, multimedia installations and sound. She is an active member of the sound collective Dynamische Akustische Forschung (DAF). Most recently her work has been shown at „Circolo – Lia Mostra d’ Ert“, „Der Mixer Frankfurt“, „Edel Extra“ and the theater play „Vigilante“ on the premises of „Prinz-LeopoldKultur“ in Regensburg.
